Final Concept - Pleated Paper Lamp

This is my final concept. This is Pleated Paper Lamp. I think, folding is the best way to reflect the character of paper which can't be done with other material. For manufacture, It will use folding paper machine. The upper base was made from 0.3 mm thickness aluminium sheet. The pattern was base by 1 x A2 sheet of paper. And It used plastic wire to connect paper and aluminium sheet.

Second Concept - Pattern Paper Lamp

This is my second concept. I used ivory paper and folding technique to make the pattern of the lamp. For the inside, I used oil paper which can reflect light very beautiful. For the structure, I used 5mm thickness metal wire.

First Concept - Earing Showcase

This my my first concept which is earing showcase. It was only made from 1 sheet ivory paper. It is so cheap and easy to manufacture. I think, the pattern can reflect character of paper and structure which can't be made by other material.

Redesign iMac

Designer Nuno Teixeira has redesigned the iMac, giving it a curved screen, second display at the back and While shooting for the stars, Nuno also included two webcams(front and back). Apparently, he was inspired by the wraparound Cinerama screens from the Fifties.

Italian designer Luca Casarotto’s Penta pendant lamp was developed during a Foscarini Lab workshop. The lights intensity can be adjusted depending on your mood with sliding flat shades made from a recycled polyethylene.

Spiral Desk Lamp

It's a distinctive and innovative desk lamp designed by Wendy Tytherleigh. The lamp has an adjustable spiral shade which allows the user to achieve varying light levels without the use of a conventional dimmer switch.

Two Lamps One Flashlight

There have been other attempts at fusing a flashlight with a lamp, but 'Two Lamps' with its simple click-off rechargeable flashlight design offers up one of the most elegant solutions (similar to certain lantern camping flashlights, only probably wouldn't suck). The flashlight may not be powerful enough, but it would be nice to avoid digging around in my cabinets and drawers when the lights go out. Unfortunately, it is only a concept at the moment.
